Job summary

Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking a New Product Industrial Designer for its Home & Garden R&D team, located in Earth City, MO. The role focuses on translating consumer needs into innovative hard-goods products, collaborating with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to prototype and refine concepts.

You will contribute to ergonomic and usability-driven design, leveraging Rapid prototyping and AI-assisted iterations in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial design.
• 3+ years in hard goods design execution.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Keyshot, and Adobe CC.

Responsibilities

• Translate consumer insights into new products and experiences.
• Collaborate with Marketing, NPD, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Develop design concepts focusing on ergonomics, form, and function.
• Create physical and digital prototypes and iterate rapidly.
