Job summary

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Estimator to support commercial, industrial, and manufacturing HVAC and plumbing projects.

You will analyze project plans, specifications, and customer requirements to develop accurate cost estimates, equipment selections, budget pricing, and proposal packages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with contractors, engineers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, HVACR, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years estimating experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF software.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop estimates.
• Perform material, equipment, and labor takeoffs for HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Prepare project estimates, quotations, and budget proposals.
• Identify risks and value-engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and internal teams during bidding.
• Assist with bid preparation and project handoff meetings.
