Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Application Engineer to support design, equipment selection, estimating, and pre-construction planning for commercial and industrial projects. This role translates plans and specifications into complete HVAC/R solutions, including calculations, equipment selections, and detailed project pricing.

The ideal candidate will work across engineering, estimating, vendors, sales, and project management, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and equipment.
Experience interpreting mechanical plans, refrigeration drawings, and equipment schedules.
Experience performing HVAC/R load calculations and equipment sizing.
Familiarity with COMcheck and evolving refrigerant regulations (A2L/CO2).

Responsabilités

Review drawings to determine HVAC/R and refrigeration requirements for proposed projects.
Perform load calculations for warehouses and cold-storage facilities.
Evaluate project requirements to determine system design and equipment needed.
Develop equipment schedules and technical submittal information.
Prepare complete project quotations for the Sales team.
