Job summary

Hearst Media Services is seeking a hybrid People Operations Coordinator in Tampa to provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HR transactions, benefits and leave administration, and employee communications. You will manage updates in HR systems and help ensure accurate records and payroll inputs.

This role requires 1–2 years of HR administration experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years HR administration experience.
• Maintain employee records and payroll support.
• Ability to learn HR systems and MS Office.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and service mindset.
• Onsite collaboration in Tampa (hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine employee questions and route escalations.
• Process HR transactions in Oracle HCM.
• Maintain accurate HR system records and support data checks.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and PTO administration.
• Assist with benefits administration and enrollment support.
• Prepare hire/separation documents and maintain records.
