Job summary

Barilla Americas Headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois is seeking a Human Resources Intern for a 10–12 week paid internship in the US HR group. The role offers hybrid work with three onsite days weekly and exposure to core HR competencies.

You'll support Appreciative Feedback, employee file management, learning and development projects, employer branding updates, and wellness programs while gaining real-world experience collaborating with a professional team.

Qualifications

• Completed junior year of college with a concentration in Human Resources, Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience handling confidential matters.
• Prior Human Resources experience is a plus.
• Strong time and project management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; Advanced Excel skills with formulas and pivot tables a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications for Appreciative Feedback Program and gather insights.
• Maintain employee files and support compliance efforts through regular I-9 audits.
• Identify and coordinate a learning & development course for interns to participate in.
• Update employer branding pages with refreshed content based on best practices research.
• Plan and evaluate wellness and inclusion programs.
