Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a HR Compliance Intern in Northbrook, IL, for a 10–12 week hybrid internship. You will support audits, reporting, and governance across Americas, APAC, and EMEA, while organizing documentation and training materials.

You’ll gain practical HR compliance experience, translate regulatory topics into clear summaries, and contribute to regional initiatives within a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Interest in HR compliance, risk management, audit, data analytics, or HR operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits, prepare reports and presentations, and support HR compliance activities.
• Organize and maintain HR compliance documentation, trackers, and regional resources.
• Track action items, remediation plans, audits, and follow-up related to HR compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries related to compliance risks and regional initiatives.
• Prepare training materials and guidance documents for regional HR teams.
• Support HR governance practices across Americas, APAC, and EMEA.
