Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a hybrid role in Schaumburg, IL. You will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and payroll backup.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and HR Director to implement best practices, foster a positive employee experience, and contribute to a high-performing workplace. The base salary ranges from 70,000 to 90,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree or 8 years HR experience in lieu of a degree; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, including experience supporting an organization with 50+ employees.
• At least 2 years of HRIS administration or ATS experience, such as Paychex, Paycor, Workday, ADP, or Rippling.
• Strong understanding of HR procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• HRIS Administration & Employee Support: HRIS administrator, support recruiting, benefits management, performance review cycles, time-off policies, and workflow development.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: assist with job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letter prep; potential to own recruiting.
• Benefits & Payroll Administration: administer benefits enrollment, deductions, changes; backup payroll processing.
• HR Compliance & Policy Management: monitor harassment training; labor law postings; maintain policies and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• HR Projects & Collaboration: develop initiatives with HR leadership; support engagement and process improvements; identify workflow improvements.
