Job summary

Restart, Inc. is a Minnesota-based nonprofit seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations. You will support policy implementation, records management, and reporting while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in HR and strong organizational skills. The position is hybrid, located in Eden Prairie, MN with a home-office option where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience across recruitment, onboarding and payroll.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Payroll, Indeed and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates; coordinate the interview process.
• Facilitate new hire orientations and maintain onboarding experience.
• Maintain and update employee records; generate HR reports and compliance reporting.
• Stay current with employment laws; assist in development of HR policies and SOPs.
