Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support the HR team. The role handles benefits and leave administration, payroll actions, and maintains employee personnel records.

The position is full-time with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office per week) reporting to the Director of Human Resources. You will contribute to policy enforcement, recruiting support, onboarding, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years progressive HR management experience.
• 1–2+ years in a government contracting environment.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support benefits and leave administration, review and process payroll actions, and maintain employee personnel records.
• Enforce company policies and practices and provide recruitment support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; stay updated on HR trends and regulations.
• Handle employee inquiries and participate in disciplinary matters, investigations, and onboarding activities.
• Provide support for training, development, performance, and talent management initiatives.
