Job summary

BrightPath in New Hope, MN, is seeking an HR Generalist focused on onboarding and the employee experience. You’ll own the transition from hire to first day and beyond, ensuring a smooth, compliant start for every colleague.

You’ll manage scheduling, master staffing patterns, background checks (Minnesota DHS NETStudy 2.0), I-9 verification, HRIS accuracy, and benefits enrollment. This role sits at the heart of how we support people facing adversities.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations, onboarding, or workforce coordination in a shift-based, high-compliance environment.
• Comfort owning compliance-sensitive processes with precision.
• Systems-minded across HRIS, scheduling software, and spreadsheets.
• People-first approach to onboarding and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle onboarding and new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification.
• Publish schedules and administer the master staffing pattern.
• Manage Minnesota DHS background checks, MVR and related verifications.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and scheduling records through employee lifecycle.
• Administer benefits enrollment and ensure timely, correct entitlements.
