Placements24 is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a hybrid, Welkom-area role. You will implement HR policies, assist recruitment, maintain HRIS data, and handle employee inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HR, solid knowledge of SA labor law, and experience with HRIS and MS Office. The position offers a competitive salary, medical aid, pension benefits, and annual bonus in a stable industrial environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR support role.
• Knowledge of South African labor law is essential.
• Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Willingness to work a Hybrid schedule, with regular on-site presence in the Welkom area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.
• Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS.
• Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
• Assist with the administration of payroll and benefits.
• Support employee relations initiatives and contribute to conflict resolution.
• Assist in organizing training and development activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations in the workplace.
• Prepare HR reports as required by management.
