Job summary

Mission Edge is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator in San Diego, CA. This hybrid role supports onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee experience for a nationwide remote team and fiscally sponsored projects.

You’ll partner with HR leadership to manage onboarding, Change of Status filings, payroll packages, and compliance reviews, while planning events that strengthen culture and engagement across our organization.

Qualifications

1–2 years HR, administrative, or office coordination experience.
Experience with HRIS (e.g., Paylocity) a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and discretion in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

Own onboarding administration for new hires and related paperwork.
Support bi-weekly payroll and timesheet coordination.
Coordinate culture events, celebrations, and employee engagement activities.
Maintain HR records and assist with Change of Status filings and compliance tasks.
Assist with policy and contract compliance reviews as needed.
