Job summary

Mission Edge is seeking an HR Coordinator in San Diego to join a hybrid, remote-enabled team serving nonprofits and small businesses. You’ll own onboarding administration, support payroll, ensure compliance, and help coordinate staff events and culture initiatives that keep our nationwide team connected.

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you’ll work across internal and fiscally sponsored projects, maintain HR records, and assist with audits, MSAs, and IC agreements while delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years HR/administrative/event/office coordination experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding administrative tasks for new hires—offers, forms, I‑9s, Paylocity setup, and post-onboarding filing.
• Prepare and file Change of Status forms and coordinate Paylocity updates.
• Support HR Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks for internal and fiscally sponsored staff.
