Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an HR Business Partner in Chapel Hill, NC to support SHRA/EHRA units. You will initiate personnel actions, guide recruitment and hiring, and provide HR interpretation for assigned departments.

You will manage relationships, ensure service levels, and may backup other roles within the HR Shared Services Center. Bachelor’s degree required; university HR systems experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience with University human resources and software processes (ConnectCarolina, PeopleAdmin, LawLogix, InfoPorte) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate both complex and basic personnel actions and facilitate recruitment/hiring processes.
• Provide HR guidance, interpretation, and application for SHRA and EHRA employees in assigned departments.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure service levels and performance standards are met.
• Serve as back-up to other positions within the HR Shared Services Center.
