Job summary

UC San Diego Health HR is hiring a contract HR Applications Developer to manage the ServiceNow HRSD for Health Human Resources, ensuring end-to-end HR system solutions.

The role combines on-site and remote work in a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite at Greenwich Dr. and 2 days remote).

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with years of related ServiceNow HRSD experience, plus strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL and AngularJS skills.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related experience with ServiceNow HRSD.
• Advanced skills in software specification, design, modification and deployment of large-scale projects.
• Experience in web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean/Scrum/DevOps methodologies.
• Change management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• System administration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management skills to set objectives, address barriers, and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain UC San Diego Health ServiceNow HRSD application.
• Lead data loading, manipulation, and maintenance between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Provide technical guidance to junior HRSD developers and act as lead for the Health HR ServiceNow team.
• Ensure system stability, integrity, and compliance across HR processes.
