Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a contract HR Applications Developer to manage the ServiceNow HRSD platform for Health Human Resources. The role collaborates with HR staff to implement end-to-end HR processes and ensure system stability and compliance.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite at Greenwich Dr. and 2 days remote) with potential extension or conversion, requiring strong service-now expertise and data integration skills.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
• Experience with web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Lean/Scrum/Dev-ops).
• Experience with change management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow HRSD application for UC San Diego Health.
• Develop, configure and maintain the ServiceNow platform for HR.
• Lead data loading and data integrity between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Provide technical guidance to junior HRSD programmers/developers.
• Ensure system stability, integrity, and compliance.
