Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a contract HR Applications Developer to manage and maintain the ServiceNow HRSD platform for Health Human Resources. The role combines onsite and remote work on a hybrid schedule, guiding data integration, configuration, and end-to-end HRsolutions.

The successful candidate will lead technical efforts, collaborate with HR staff, and provide guidance to junior developers while ensuring system stability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
• Experience with ServiceNow HRSD.
• Web development experience using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean/Scrum/Dev-ops methodologies.
• Change management experience with multiple stakeholder groups.
• System administration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical info to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the UC San Diego Health ServiceNow HRSD application and related data integrations.
• Lead architecture and implementation of HR business processes within ServiceNow; coordinate with Health Information Services ServiceNow administrator team.
• Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems; ensure data integrity and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior HRSD Programmers/Developers; act as escalation point for Health HR ServiceNow team.
