Job summary

UC San Diego Health HR is hiring a contract HR Applications Developer to manage and maintain the ServiceNow HRSD platform for Health Human Resources. The role requires collaborating with HR staff to configure, implement, and support end-to-end HR processes within ServiceNow, ensuring system stability and data integrity across integrated systems.

You will lead data loading, act as the technical escalation point for the Health HR ServiceNow team, and mentor junior developers while delivering

Qualifications

• Nine years of related experience, education/training, or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
• Experience with ServiceNow HRSD.
• Web development experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Experience developing and executing complex test plans.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Lean/Scrum/DevOps).
• Change management and ability to move stakeholders through change.
• System administration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Project management: objectives, resources, milestones, action plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead in loading, manipulating and maintaining data between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Architect technical implementations of HR business processes within ServiceNow.
• Coordinate efforts with the Health Information Services ServiceNow administrator team.
• Provide technical guidance to Junior HRSD Programmers/Developers.
• Serve as primary technical lead and escalation point for Health HR ServiceNow team.
