Exelon Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a HR Applications Systems Functional Business Analyst to support HR/Payroll technology, perform analysis, testing, upgrades, and reporting, and act as liaison between HR, Payroll and IT.

The role partners with HR, Finance, Supply and IT to ensure seamless integration of HR systems, drive process improvements, and deliver accurate analytics across the employee lifecycle, with hybrid in-office work and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or Information Systems with 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of degree, 6–9 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a functional role supporting HR/Payroll, or IT with a focus on HR, Payroll applications.
• Minimum 4 years' experience working with HR application systems, with in-depth knowledge of end-to-end development of queries and reports.
• Project management and process improvements experience.
• Ability to work independently and take leadership role in working with various stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications through hands-on analysis.
• Strong oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR application systems business analyst support and process improvement analysis for HR/Payroll, acting as liaison between HR/Payroll users and IT.
• Extract and compile information to create reports/queries to client specifications.
• Manage scope and requirements for HR/Payroll system enhancements and implementations.
• Assist with resolving questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes in HR, Payroll, and benefits.
