Job summary

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a City Research Scientist to support Workforce Analytics within the Division of Disease Control. You will perform professional consultative social science research and analyses to improve HR processes, training compliance, and professional development across the division and agency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree for Assignment Level I; for Level II/above, doctorate or master's with specified experience.
• Two years as City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support HR centralization and streamline cross-Divisional workflows across Agency.
• Develop data management reports and proactive decision-making tools for HR unit.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of HR capacity and performance.
• Support HR policy research including salary parity and personnel actions.
