Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an HR Administrator in Shelton, CT for a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). The position offers a salary range of $65,000–$90,000 plus a bonus program and a path for long-term growth.

Responsibilities include onboarding, I-9 compliance, benefits administration, 401(k) changes, payroll support, and maintenance of confidential HR records for about 75 staff. Travel to plant locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR or HR administrative experience preferred.
• Experience handling confidential employee information.
• HRIS experience; Paylocity is strongly preferred.
• Experience with 401(k) administration and payroll processes.
• Multi-state HR/payroll exposure is a plus.
• Reliable professional looking for a long-term opportunity.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support employee onboarding, I-9 compliance, and employee recordkeeping.
• Assist with open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
• Handle 401(k) changes and administrative support.
• Support payroll administration, including timecards and backend payroll processes.
• Maintain confidential employee information and organized HR files.
• Assist with employee training and other HR programs.
• Serve as a backup for payroll for approximately 75 employees.
• Occasional domestic travel to company plant locations.
