Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Houston seeks a proactive Sales Order Processing Specialist to review and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment in a hybrid work arrangement. You will validate contract details against Salesforce records, set up client profiles, and collaborate with sales and internal teams while maintaining clear communication and a customer-first mindset.

The role follows normal business hours (8:00–5:00) and requires in-office presence at least two days

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in sales order processing, order management, billing, quality control, documentation review, or related field preferred.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM system.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently within established service level expectations.
• Manage and prioritize an active order queue to support timely order fulfillment.
• Review incoming order and contract documentation for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
• Validate order details against Salesforce records and ensure appropriate alignment before approval and fulfillment.
• Use internal systems to track, update, and maintain order records.
• Support order fulfillment activities, including setting up client profiles and distributing login information as needed.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve order discrepancies or documentation issues using sound judgment and analytical thinking.
• Collaborate with sales, internal partners, and cross-functional teams while also working independently to complete assigned work.
• Use Excel and Microsoft Office tools to review order data, organize information, and support reporting needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners.
• Learn new processes and adapt to changing business priorities, including support for new projects as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
