Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a proactive Sales Order Processing Specialist in Houston to accurately process customer orders, review contract documentation, and support fulfillment with strong service orientation.

You will validate order details against Salesforce, set up client profiles, and maintain order records while collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams. The role is hybrid, with two in-office days weekly, and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales order processing, order management, billing, quality control, or related field preferred.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM system.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to organize work and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work normal business hours and in Houston office two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately within established SLAs.
• Manage active order queue to support timely fulfillment.
• Review order and contract documentation for completeness and quality.
• Validate order details against Salesforce records before approval.
• Use internal systems to track, update, and maintain order records.
• Set up client profiles and distribute login information as needed.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with sound judgment and analytics.
• Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams; also work independently.
• Use Excel and Office tools to review data and support reporting.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
