Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Order Processing Specialist in Houston to join our Order Management Group. You will process customer orders, review contracts, validate details in Salesforce, and assist with fulfillment while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

The role operates on a hybrid schedule (at least two days in the Houston office, typically Wednesdays and Thursdays) with standard hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and a focus on clear communication with internal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in sales order processing, order management, billing, quality control, documentation review, or related field preferred.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM system.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work a normal business-hours schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Ability to work from the Houston office at least two days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently within established service level expectations.
• Manage and prioritize an active order queue to support timely order fulfillment.
• Review incoming order and contract documentation for completeness, accuracy, and quality.
• Validate order details against Salesforce records and ensure alignment before approval and fulfillment.
• Use internal systems to track, update, and maintain order records.
• Support order fulfillment activities, including setting up client profiles and distributing login information.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve order discrepancies or documentation issues using sound judgment and analytical thinking.
• Collaborate with sales, internal partners, and cross-functional teams while also working independently to complete assigned work.
• Use Excel and Microsoft Office tools to review order data, organize information, and support reporting needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners.
• Learn new processes and adapt to changing business priorities, including support for new projects as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
