Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking an Hosting Services Operations Engineer to support hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will help manage organization-level cloud accounts, guardrails, and spend while also performing hands-on hardware work in Stanford’s data centers.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, security staff, and vendors to build practical skills across public cloud, private cloud, and physical data center operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud operations across multi-account environments is preferred.
• Hands-on data center experience and hardware familiarity are a plus.
• Ability to develop IaC workflows and automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-account cloud footprint and landing zones across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Monitor cloud health, cost, and usage, with FinOps best practices.
• Assist with virtualization, compute, and storage in private clouds and data centers.
