Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas seeks an ITS Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Durham, NC. The role provides in-office support four days a week with one remote day, assisting with computer systems, software, printers, and phones, and handling tickets via Zendesk.

Travel up to 50% within NC is required, and a company vehicle will be used for field visits. You will support 24/7 staffing by resolving issues, onboarding new staff, and maintaining security in Microsoft 365,

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in related fields (Computer Science, telecommunications, etc).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Helpdesk Technician or ITS Specialist.
• Experience in healthcare/human services IT environments including HIPAA is preferred.
• Experience with password resets, desktop troubleshooting, and application support.
• Strong experience with Desktop Support, Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud apps.
• Excellent customer service for tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Zendesk.
• Willingness to travel within NC region and support 24/7 environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical assistance for computer systems, software, hardware, printers, and phones.
• Respond to queries by phone and email, manage ticket queue and triage.
• Onboard new staff and ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Set up user accounts and permissions; manage security in 365 Admin Center.
• Maintain LAN/WAN, VoIP, and AV systems; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Assist in deploying new applications and training staff on hardware/software.
