Job summary

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a Help Desk Technician at our Association Office location in Tacoma, WA. You will provide first-level technical assistance, route service requests, and assist with reports and password resets to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Compensation is $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly hybrid role with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience with Help Desk or technical customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Demonstrated professionalism in both attitude and appearance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Positive attitude and experience with diverse populations.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office suite, Teams, and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT contact for YMCA staff.
• Answer staff phone calls to the IT Helpdesk.
• Monitor helpdesk queue and route requests.
• Assist staff in creating service requests on the ticketing system.
• Schedule and dispatch IT staff to centers.
• Escalate requests beyond service levels.
• Review tickets for timely follow-up and resolution.
• Communicate incident progress to staff.
