Job summary

MMD Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator for a 90-day contract to bridge the help desk and senior IT staff. The role resolves escalated issues and passes along clear findings when necessary, while working with colleagues across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a solid help desk background, troubleshoots independently, and enjoys collaborating with people throughout the company. A hybrid schedule in Oak Brook, IL with on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays is expected.

Qualifications

• Help desk or desktop support background with experience handling escalated issues.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Working knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting.
• Experience writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of escalated support tickets and work them to resolution.
• Troubleshoot network, end-user, and system issues across corporate and remote locations.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure users and services.
• Research unfamiliar issues and find solutions independently.
• Escalate issues to senior administrators with clear details when needed.
• Create documentation for recurring issues so the help desk can resolve them going forward.
