Job summary

J.McLaughlin is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join its IT team in a hybrid role based primarily in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The position supports Corporate, Retail & Warehouse users and requires strong technical troubleshooting across POS, network, and store systems.

The candidate should have an associate degree or relevant training, experience in help desk or technical support, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally are needed.

Qualifications

Associates degree in related field preferred; technical training is a plus.
Experience in Help Desk or technical support call center.
Flexibility to work late evenings and weekends.
Valid driver’s license; travel locally and domestically required.
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Answer calls from stores and provide remote technical support related to POS hardware, network, retail systems, and store operations.
Provide software/hardware support for corporate, retail and warehouse users.
Document each contact in the tracking system quickly and accurately.
Work with vendor support to resolve problems.
Travel off-site to set up new locations or troubleshoot issues.
Provide weekend support when scheduled.
Other related duties as assigned.
