Job summary

Marsh seeks a Senior Lead Health Actuarial Consultant to manage client projects on health benefits strategies, including financial projections and plan design optimization. You will be the primary financial contact for clients and guide analysts and associates.

Responsibilities include leading engagements, reviewing analyses for accuracy, and supporting business development while expanding knowledge of health insurance actuarial services.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in actuarial field with health and benefits consulting experience.
• Proven progress to obtaining ASA designation.
• Client facing experience.
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, benchmarking, and other health and welfare insurance projects.
• Review data analyses by junior staff to ensure actuarial accuracy and proper model usage.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software, with potential healthcare specialization.
• Thrive in an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
• Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and propose solutions.
