Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Robotics Hardware Program Engineering Manager for the ARC to lead end-to-end mechanical content from concept to launch. You will drive architecture, design release, and cross-functional alignment with Kokomo, Software, Validation, Development, and deployment teams.

You will resolve design issues, review changes, and ensure production-ready drawings and specs while guiding the organization toward disciplined execution and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex engineering programs or products.
• Deep experience in mechanical and/or electrical system execution.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong program management instincts with technical credibility.
• Comfortable making decisions in technically dense, high-ambiguity environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program execution for electrical content.
• Lead design release, change management, and configuration control.
• Interface with software, validation, development, and deployment teams.
• Proactively manage risk, interfaces, and cross-domain dependencies.
