Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking an Autonomy PEM ARC Program Engineering Manager to deliver electrical content for ARC product programs from concept to launch. You will lead cross-functional execution across wiring, controls, sensing, and validation, ensuring robust, producible designs within a hybrid work setting.

The role requires strong leadership, discipline in execution, and the ability to navigate dependencies across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex engineering programs or products.
• Deep experience in mechanical and/or electrical system execution.
• Proven ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Strong program management instincts paired with technical credibility.
• Comfortable making decisions in technically dense, high-ambiguity environments.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Execution: wire, networking, and communications engineering; ensure robustness, manufacturability, packaging, and standards compliance.
• Controls, Calibration & Tools: own electrical architectures; lead calibration, commissioning tools, and supporting infra; ensure repeatable end-of-line testing and calibration across products.
• Sensing: ensure sensing strategies support safety, autonomy, and performance; coordinate with mechanical for calibration/testing.
• Electrical DREs: lead design release, change management, configuration control; ensure wiring diagrams, models, and specs are production-ready.
• Leadership & Operating: own program plans, milestones, dependencies, execution health; drive disciplined engineering execution and cross-domain coordination.
