Job summary

The Ohio State University’s College of Pharmacy is seeking a Grants and Contracts Management Senior Analyst to oversee post-award activities for principal investigators. You will provide fiscal analysis, budget management, and compliance support, monitoring expenditures and reporting to sponsors while ensuring accurate journal entries.

This hybrid role requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years of experience with grant budgets, plus strong Excel skills and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with grant budgeting or post-award work.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze budgets and financial documents.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex processes to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and monitor the fiscal status of awards from set-up to close-out.
• Coordinate personnel appointments on COP grants and related units.
• Attend quarterly grant meetings with PI and Finance Director.
• Collaborate on cost transfers and prepare required documentation.
• Approve all project-related transactions and resolve procurement issues.
• Support submission of annual and final reports to sponsors.
• Review monthly reports to ensure proper appointments.
• Assist with sub-award budgeting and pre-award support as needed.
