Redwood Family Care Network seeks a Grant Writing Specialist to secure funding and manage grant documentation from its Chino Hills, CA office. The role focuses on developing compelling proposals, budgeting, and ensuring compliance, with potential for remote work depending on location.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of grant writing experience, knowledge of grant life cycles, and strong communication and writing skills to support program development and fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grant proposal writing, fundraising, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of grant life cycle management from research to reporting.
• Ability to tailor proposals to meet funder requirements.
• Knowledge in IDD and Medicaid Waiver funding system is preferred.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors.
• Develop, write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents.
• Prepare detailed grant budgets and financial reports in collaboration with finance and program teams.
• Ensure submissions meet funder requirements and compliance standards.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely submission of required reports.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and impact information for proposals and reports.
