Job summary

Nord Anglia Education seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist to deliver accurate, compliant payroll processing across multiple states. You will partner with HR and Finance to address employee needs and standardize payroll practices, supporting regional HR operations and compliance in the US.

Responsibilities include processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, managing benefits deductions, audits, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multicultural environment and multi-state environment.
• Experience with HRIS/ payroll systems and data imports.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations; Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois and New York familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including data imports and adjustments.
• Audit payroll data and previews prior to submission; provide schools with reporting tools for review.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data; support internal and external audits.
• Assist with tax registrations and garnishment processes; prepare statutory reports.
• Coordinate with Benefits and Finance teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting.
• Support HRIS improvements and payroll automation projects.
