Job summary

DNV is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our GSS HR payroll team in Houston, TX. You will manage end-to-end payroll for North America, ensure accuracy, audits, and respond to inquiries, collaborating with HR and Finance to streamline processes and maintain compliance.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), temporary status with potential to convert to permanent. Strong Excel skills and experience with multi-state regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years payroll experience.
• Experience managing payroll for 600+ employees.
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and tax requirements.
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll and other enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll process for all employees in North America.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to streamline payroll data integration.
• Support development and implementation of payroll policies.
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
