DNV is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our GSS HR payroll team, ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and accurately across North America. You will review records, spot inconsistencies, and confirm transactions are completed on schedule, contributing to employee satisfaction and compliance.

Based in our Houston office with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), this temporary role offers the potential to convert to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information.
