Job summary

Spire Global Inc. is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist in Washington, DC to own global onboarding and day-to-day HR administration.

You will partner with employees and managers to deliver a consistent experience, maintain HR records, and support process improvements across the global organization. You will manage onboarding, new hire orientation, I-9 compliance, labor notices, and commission plan administration, while collaborating with Payroll and HR teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, or People Operations experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Rippling strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own global onboarding and ensure a consistent, organized experience.
• Coordinate pre-onboarding activities with TA, hiring managers, IT and Payroll.
• Own and coordinate new hire orientation and check-ins.
• Process routine employee changes in Rippling and maintain HR records.
• Administer Form I-9 and right-to-work verification requirements.
• Coordinate access to labor law notices for remote U.S. employees.
• Prepare and communicate employee commission plans and amendments.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine HR inquiries and support HR self-service.
• Support global HR initiatives and process improvements.
