Job summary

Foster McKay seeks a Senior Manager of Accounting to lead the U.S. accounting function amid rapid international growth. You will oversee monthly close, GAAP reporting, internal controls, audits, and local tax compliance, aligning with Group policies as the business prepares for potential U.S. listing.

You will coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Technical Accounting to implement best practices, improve processes, and optimize NetSuite across the organization. Hybrid work in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within an international organization.
• Strong experience with financial close, statutory reporting, and external audits.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and financial compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quarterly, and annual close process for U.S. entities.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting packages.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with Group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements for the U.S. entities, coordinate filings.
• Support Group IFRS reporting and consolidation.
• Maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting and support SOX compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
• Coordinate local tax filings and partner with Group Tax; support tax reporting.
• Drive process improvements and optimization of NetSuite ERP.
