Job summary

Foster McKay is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to lead key technical accounting areas, including lease accounting under ASC 842, complex contract accounting, accounting research, and quarterly/annual financial reporting support. You will serve as a critical liaison across Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and international finance teams to ensure U.S.

GAAP compliance and timely close. The role also supports emerging accounting issues, prepares technical memos, and drives

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Big 4 or pharmaceutical corporate accounting.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with SOX controls and internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead lease accounting under ASC 842 and complex transaction accounting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure GAAP compliance across Finance, Legal, IT, Tax and international teams.
• Drive process improvements and SOX control design/documentation across technical accounting processes.
