Job summary

Foster McKay seeks a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead regulatory filings and provide expert accounting guidance across the group. You will work with finance teams, auditors, and senior stakeholders to ensure compliant reporting and robust processes in a fast-growing, international environment.

The role emphasizes IFRS and U.S. GAAP expertise, complex disclosures, and ongoing process improvements in a hybrid setting. A CPA and 7+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7+ years in professional accounting roles.
• Strong SEC reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of SEC rules, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Experience with complex financial disclosures.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Exposure to Disclosure Management System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting and ensure regulatory filings are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate SEC requirements (20-F, 6-K) and MD&A disclosures.
• Provide technical accounting guidance under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain group accounting policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and promote consistency across entities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Consolidation, Tax, and external auditors.
• Enhance reporting systems and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
