J.S. Held LLC is hiring a Manager to lead our Accounting/Finance team in a hybrid role with travel as needed.

You will drive month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate with corporate accounting, and oversee billing, AR, and AP functions while supporting consolidated reporting and audits. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8–10 years of accounting experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Collaborative attitude with a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all local accounting activities: month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting for consolidated reporting and audits.
• Maintain books and timely monthly/quarterly/annual closes.
• Oversee billing operations, WIP management, and revenue realization.
• Manage AR, collections, cash application, DSO, and working capital metrics.
• Lead accounts payable: vendors, invoicing, payments, and relationships.
• Serve as liaison with FP&A for KPI reporting.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external firms.
