Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Systems Integration Specialist with extensive experience in Cityworks and AMS integration for water, wastewater, and utilities. You will lead planning, configuration, and data harmonization to support asset management strategies and enable reliable operational decisions.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT, and drive digital transformation through GIS-centric solutions, dashboards, and cloud-based services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of GIS, Cityworks, and enterprise systems integration experience in utilities/public works.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrated GIS/AMS solutions aligned with asset management strategies.
• Strong proficiency with ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Online), Python scripting, SQL Server, REST APIs, and system interoperability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing system-focused projects from conception through implementation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, configuration, and maintenance of Cityworks and its integration with GIS and other enterprise systems (e.g., SCADA, CCTV, ERP).
• Develop and maintain automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools to support asset lifecycle management and risk-based decision-making.
• Ensure alignment of asset data standards and practices with IAM frameworks and asset management objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and IT to enhance system usability and data reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in GIS-based asset inventory development, condition assessment strategies, and performance monitoring initiatives.
• Support digital transformation and innovation initiatives including mobile data collection, field integration, and cloud-based services.
• Mentor junior staff and facilitate training on Cityworks and GIS tools; support change management related to digital asset systems.
