Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Systems Integration Specialist to lead Cityworks integration with GIS and enterprise systems for utilities. You will design workflows, dashboards, and data standards to enable asset management and risk-based decisions.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, operations and IT while mentoring staff and guiding digital asset initiatives. The role emphasizes leadership in GIS-based asset inventory, condition assessment, and cloud/mobile data collection to support digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, CS, or Engineering; advanced degree or IAM/GISP preferred.
• 6+ years GIS, Cityworks, and enterprise system integration experience in utilities/public works.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro/Portal/Online, Python, SQL Server, REST APIs, and system interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, configuration, and maintenance of Cityworks and its integration with GIS and other enterprise systems (e.g., SCADA, CCTV, ERP).
• Develop and maintain automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools to support asset lifecycle management and risk-based decision-making.
• Ensure alignment of asset data standards and practices with IAM frameworks, and organizational asset management objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and IT to enhance system usability and data reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in GIS-based asset inventory development, condition assessment strategies, and performance monitoring initiatives.
• Support digital transformation and innovation initiatives including mobile data collection, field integration, and cloud-based services.
• Mentor junior staff and facilitate training on Cityworks and GIS tools; support change management efforts related to digital asset systems.
