Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Fullstack Engineer for the Local Conversations team. You’ll build frontend and backend features with React and Django, participate in architecture decisions, and ship reliable software in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

You’ll contribute to multiple product areas, use AI tools to enhance outputs, and grow through on-call shadowing after onboarding. Strong ownership and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping software in production.
• Strong frontend fundamentals and React expertise.
• Python/Django experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL and full-stack development.
• Ability to break down requirements and propose approaches.
• Collaborative communication skills.
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in contributing ideas and product perspective.
• 2+ years of software development experience with increasing ownership.
• Experience with Storybook is a plus.
• Eagerness to apply AI tools in daily work.
• Willingness to participate in in-person company events

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across frontend and backend on local conversations features.
• Build high-quality web experiences using React and Python/Django.
• Contribute to entity-relationship modeling and solution architecture.
• Participate in testing, iteration, and deployment activities.
• Engage with product, design, and engineering teams for delivery.
• Shift to on-call shadowing after onboarding and ramp-up
