Job summary
Socket.dev is hiring a mid-level fullstack engineer to own customer-facing features across our Django backend and React/TypeScript web apps, from implementation through production. You’ll partner with product, design, data and analytics to ship reliable, maintainable product experiences and the services that support them. This role reports to our Sr.
Engineering Manager. Fully remote with US-wide collaboration and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional fullstack engineering experience.
- Experience shipping APIs with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Git, automated tests, and CI/CD.
- Cloud experience (AWS) and Unix/Linux scripting.
Responsibilities
- Ship customer-facing features end-to-end across Django and React apps.
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, and analytics teams.
- Improve service reliability via instrumentation, monitoring, and CI/CD automation.
- Contribute to deployment and operation tooling using Unix scripting.
- Review code and contribute to technical design discussions for maintainability and performance.
- Use AI coding tools as part of development workflow.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident postmortems.
