Job summary

Nextdoor is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to help build the Local Conversations experiences, joining the Rewards & Incentives pod. You will work across frontend and backend with a focus on high-quality web experiences using React and Python/Django.

You will contribute to entity modeling, solution architecture, testing, and iteration, while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teammates. A hybrid work model is available, with in-person events as applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong frontend fundamentals and React experience.
• Experience with a server-side web application language; Python/Django preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL and full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship web experiences using React and Python/Django in production.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, data science, and infrastructure teams to improve engineering quality.
• Contribute to architecture, implementation, testing, and iteration phases.
• Participate in on-call shadow rotation after onboarding.
