Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a detail-focused Logistics Specialist III to manage daily shipment execution, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and ensure on-time delivery. The role blends hands-on operational work with problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll leverage a TMS and email platforms to handle high-volume activity, optimize processes, and maintain data accuracy, with a hybrid schedule based in Exton, PA (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, errors, or carrier challenges.
• Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues across multiple transportation modes, escalating when needed.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.
• Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems.
• Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies.
