Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Logistics Specialist based in Exton, PA with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will manage day-to-day shipment execution in a Transportation Management System, coordinate with carriers, and resolve issues to keep deliveries on time.

The role emphasizes hands-on operational work, cross-team collaboration, and data accuracy across shipment records, billing, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays or carrier challenges.
• Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues across TL, LTL, rail, bulk, and specialized freight, escalating when needed.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.
• Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems.
• Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies.
