Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking Logistics Specialists to support dedicated customer accounts within our Managed Transportation organization. You will manage daily transportation execution and use our TMS to support the full shipment lifecycle.

The role requires problem-solving, multitasking, cross-functional collaboration, and building strong relationships with carriers and customers, with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) based in Rogers, AR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer operations, or a related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation execution activities for assigned customer accounts.
• Use Uber Freight’s Transportation Management System (TMS) to support the full shipment lifecycle, including load building, tendering, tracking, and updates.
• Coordinate with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance.
• Monitor shipment activity and proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or service disruptions.
• Support appointment scheduling and shipment visibility updates.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational impacts.
• Analyze shipment and carrier performance trends to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Leverage routing guides and spot market options to support effective freight coverage and transportation solutions.
• Assist with resolving shipment data discrepancies and invoice-related issues within the TMS.
• Document and follow customer-specific operational procedures and workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal operations, carrier management, and customer support teams to drive successful outcomes.
